Fareed has over the past 25 years work experience, heading business operations in Technology and Finance. Fareed spent the last 15 years leading teams that have founded businesses and driven them to profitability and unlocking value through divestment processes. He has extensive experience in business transformation and debt restructuring and business and was instrumental in leading operators, financial professionals, advisors and lawyers to accomplish successful mandates into the hundreds of millions of dollars.

Prior to this, Fareed spent 11 years in Banking, culminating in heading the Global Banking division (Corporate Investment Banking and Markets) for the largest international bank in Oman. He managed the relationship with The Government of Oman and many multinational firms, for whom he sourced Asset Management & Financial Advisory mandates. Earlier in his banking career as Corporate Banking Manager in Dubai UAE, he propelled growth in the Global Banking segment across the MENA region, overhauling client analysis and data capture programs.

Fareed has extensive experience in governance, and has held Board memberships and positions, including Board Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Audit Committee, etc.

Fareed holds a Master of Public Affairs (International Economic Policy), Columbia University and a Master of Arts (Social Sciences) from the University of Glasgow. He has completed specialist leadership and financial courses at Columbia University and the London School of Economics.
